Interesting variation to the classic Space Invaders arcade game - you shoot the formations of enemy planes while dealing with the giant waves.
Designed in 1983 Wavy Navy was interesting variation of classic Space Invaders games. While the basics are very similar - enemy planes and helicopters move in formations above our boat armed with weapon able to launch the rockets straight up. But from that point the things are done quite differently - our boat floats on giant waves that move slowly, so we can move up and down them to avoid other dangers that loom for us, like underwater mines or rockets flying just above the waves.
With original concept and rather steep game difficulty progression Wavy Navy was variation to Space Invaders / Galaxian games, but introduced a lot of new elements to the genre.
