Test Drive III: the Passion

Third of the Test Drive racing games was offering simple 3D vector graphics and... not much more, unfortunately.
Test Drive 3 was following Test Drive 2, that might not have very impressive graphics, but had some character, humour and interesting placement of the roads we were driving. In Test Drive 3 the creators went into a different direction, which was not that good idea, actually. They tried (and actually succeeded) in making the 3D graphics, but in those days it actually meant the vector graphics that rarely rose to the expectations. We have three cars available: Lamborghini Diablo, Ferrari Mythos and Chevrolet Corvette CERV III and sort of open world to drive through, but unfortunately it sounds far better than it really is. First of all, the graphics left a lot to the imagination - it’s hard to expect many details in such an old game, but many of the objects were hard to recognize what they were supposed to be.
But that was just a minor flaw - the bigger problem was with what was supposed to be the main part of the game: the racing itself. And the problem is that all the cars have different dashboards, different colours and... that’s it. During driving, it is very hard to find any differences between them. What is more, all of them are absolutely horrible to control - they tend to spin off the road or even spin around them when they are stationary.
The game had a subtitle "the passion", but it is hard to find any traces of any passion in this title - the cars are sluggish, the driving is hard and unpleasant, the graphics leave a lot to the imagination and the whole game is very forgettable.
