Racing game involving... yes, you guessed it, roadsters! I know, how they come up with those fancy titles, huh?
Roadsters (or Roadsters Trophy) is a car racing game, in which you take part in a series of races on the closed tracks. As the title suggests, all the cars you have available are roadsters, some of which were licensed (f.e. Lotus Elan, Alfa Romeo Spider) and some were just lookalikes for real cars.
While the game was hardly original, the divisions systems made it slightly better - you start at the bottom and work your way up to reach the top division and win. In each division there are different cars available and different tracks, which means that your progress actually means something. Each of the tracks had different decor (from snowy France to urban London or tropical island) and slightly different characteristics, which created a bit of a challenge. Also, on higher levels, they were used in a reversed directions, which changed everything you learned so far about the route.
Single player and option for two players to face the opponents controlled by the computer, well developed gameplay and enjoyable driving physics made this simple game a treat.

1999
Classic racing game with a twist. And some spins. Set in 1970s or 1980s when cars were so much more fun than today and with a criminals in the background.

1982
Classic arcade game about car racing - in a mixture between Formula One and street racing we take part in race with quite weird rules.

1985
One of the best early car racing games - take part in the illegal race across United States.

1992
One of the first racing games that was using real physics rules to simulate the car behaviour and was using early 3D graphics to give us the feeling of being in the middle of the action.
