Long, long time ago, in a country far, far away, called Great Britain, there was a car that actually looked quite good. And that car had a dedicated game that was actually quite good.
Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge was not in any way revolutionary game, the main part of the gameplay was just taking corners or passing cars that were in front of you, even much older games had similar structure. But one thing that made this game stand out in the crowd was smooth animation, well balanced gameplay and good enough sound that the quite simple game was enjoyable.
Of course, the option to play on a split screen with your friend was a big plus. That is if you had friends. But enough about me. The game had slightly different tracks on which you could race against computer rivals, which added a bit of variety to the title.
There were two follow-up titles in the series, which, no surprise, were better and improved versions of the game, but kept the same winning formula - dynamic gameplay, good music and variety of conditions in which you race.

Advanced chess simulator with a high quality AI opponent. Not really, but it sounds better than the real thing - you bounce a guy to blow up the balloons.

It is tough being electrician - you have to fight with the crocodiles, you are constantly kidnapped by magic bats or weird worms eat you cables. Either it is description of a game or the author was pretty high...

Platform game, try to grab the treasures before the mummy will get ancient on your ass.

One of the first racing games that was using real physics rules to simulate the car behaviour and was using early 3D graphics to give us the feeling of being in the middle of the action.
