Third from the Premier Manager series offered a lot of options to take care of tiny details of your club - from sponsors to stadium parking.
Premier Manager 3 was based on principles taken from previous titles, but offered a bit wider range of options to manage your football club. The basic scenario was typical - we start in the Vauxhall Conference (amateur division) and through training, transfers, brilliant tactics and hard work we try to reach the Premiership and fight in European cups.
With wide range of options Premier Manager 3 was a bit of a challenge for users - the seasons were long, there were a lot of details to get through and it was really hard to win even the amateur division, not to mention reach the top of the league. First of all the transfer negotiations made it hard to sign a decent player, because although all clubs could put their offers at the end the player himself made the decision to which club he wants to go. The ticket incomes are vital part of the budget, so at the same time you have to improve the stadium to attract the audience and sponsors. Your own players will require a lot of attention, you have to take care of insurance for, at least, best of them, offer them bonuses, etc. Same story with your staff - you can hire quite a lot of them (coaches, specialist coaches, youth coach, assistant manager, scouts) and offload some of the tasks on them, but of course they will need to be paid.
Premier Manager 3 was a game that was hard to like - it was complicated, it was full of data, reports, analysis, but also hard to master. On the other hand it is hard not to mention that it was complex and demanded a lot of determination to succeed.
