Advanced chess simulator with a high quality AI opponent. Not really, but it sounds better than the real thing - you bounce a guy to blow up the balloons.
Long, long time ago, in a circus at the edge of the universe, there was a sudden invasion of deadly balloons. They were just floating harmlessly way above the ground and laughed at the inability of humans to fly. Inside of them there was a poisonous gas, which when released, would destroy the human kind. Only two daredevils were ready to face that challenge and save us all - there names were George Wallace and Bob The Bouncer. They took the special uniforms that would make them immune to the gas and special springboard built out of super-light alloys and attacked the balloons.
I’m not sure this is the real story behind Circus / Balloon, but I heard it from a guy, who said he knows what he is talking about, so... Basically it is Arcanoid, but there are balloons instead of blocks and a guy (supposedly) named Bob instead of the ball.
The game was originally published on arcades in 1977 and later its clones were published on Commodore 64 and other platforms.
